This is ridiculos…

Ok iam sharing a rs.com and downloading iam getting 11.4,10,9.7,7.75 kb/s (5 d/l on IE) and on flashget iam getting 17-20 kb/s on 7 downloads….
How is this SOOOO low? It says iam going to have to wait 2 hours on the 11kb/s download…. Didnt rapidshare say they have faster downloads on prem accout to free user? ON free user i get ~200kb/s on Prem i get ~15kb/s….
How can i increase my prem download speeds? This is crazy…..

Well… i quit all the Ie downloads… now only 7 on flashget are running…
Its jumping from ~1kb/s to ~20kb/s now… this blows…

First of all I would recommend downloading only 1 file at a time. Also, RS never said that the download speed would be greater for premium users. See what kind of speeds you get with Flashget when downloading only a single file at a time. Good luck mate ^_^

So there isnt really a use for prem accouts?(unless you dont want to wait 2 hours)

Premium account should be about as fast as what your connection will allow..
see what speed your connection is at www.speedtest.net
I don’t think people would bother with premium if it was slower…It is normally ‘ free’ that is speed limited

I download anything up to 30 files at once from rapidshare with no problems

All depends From which Rapid Server U downloaded From… there are a few of them Now..

if your top download speed is 200 kb, you wont download 7 files at 200kb at the same time, it will get split
