Tegra 2 Required? – Android

yeah I’m using blaqmarket app to get free apps i guess, it says Tegra 2 Required on some games, what is it and how do I get it. also why are there free games and not cracked ones, thanks.

Use Chainfire 3D for games requiring specific GPUs. Btw it requires a 1GHz CPU and root.

What exactly does rooting do? Can I not just install apps from wbb and sites on to phone, I have to root it like a jailbreak for iphone?

you don’t have to root your phone to install most apps or games..but some need rooting..like backup software that needs access to the phone root folders..

Nope. Chainfire3D will let you run games designed for Tegra on non Tegra devices and vice versa among other GPU types like Qualcomm and PowerVR etc.
