the number in the cpu column isnt a percentage, i cant remember what it represents but just because it says 100 does not mean its using 100%

Answer #2
it has been classified as undesirable, disconnect the computer from the internet. hid.exe is a backdoor program.
i would suggest that your antivirus program doesnt remove it, get another which it is probably too late. i would recommend a full reformat to factory default

i don’t find it ‘a bit far’, ive had issues with viruses in which it had similar problems and i spent about a week trying to remove it. until i found out that it wasnt one virus but many working in tandem. which is why i often recommend full reformat, despite what many think (you obviously don’t) anti-viruses are never perfect, they will never be perfect and if its appeared once, what is to stop it appearing again if its a program thats causing it.
Answer #6
CPU column on taskmanager is a percentage and System Idle Process is a windows program.
A basic explanation is that your cpu is always turned on so it is like a jug full of water, and when a program wants to use the CPU it takes some of the water out of the jug, and when it is finished puts it back. System Idle Process Holds all the water that isnt being used by ither applications.

Answer #8
System Idle is not a real process, it just shows how much is free. So if it shows 99% used by System Idle, it actually means just 1% of CPU is being used.
