Strange Problem in fonts with photoshop

i have a strange problem in my PC .
i have ASUS F5RL Series Laptop with operating system VISTA Basic
i have installed about 6000 font inside fonts directory inside windows directory .
after installation of photoshop CS2 . i discovered strange something not all fonts installed appeare . Only fonts till ( N ) alphabetical , and now its reduced to ( I ) alphabetical as showen in the picture
so i make downgrafe from CS2 , CS and finally 7 to check if the problem from software or not
but the same problem .
however this problem not present in any other programms deal with font directory such as word , notpade ….etc so , is there any diagnosis for this problem and how to solve it ?

think that’s just to many fonts
you are using all the memory allocated to PS with fonts
you might try increasing PS’s memory but the best bet would be to place all you extra fonts in a separate folder and just put the ones you want to us in the fonts folder as needed
get a font mgr to view & choose fonts
