Stopping advertisement videos before they begin?

I use i.e. 11 windows 8.1.pc have active x filtering enabled but some videos roll on regardless. any app or settings to prevent them?

i’ll check admuncher. I am using i.e. 11. my actual (additional) problem is, for example yahoo news, which loads a page with the article but loads about 10 mini news video teasers. those of course suck bandwidth, which my end game is trying to reduce bandwidth from useless trivia.
edit: , thank you again. I just installed ad… and on the config page it has everything I need. good to go.

It’s an excellent program that turned free just two months ago.
For me and the sites I visit, it’s enough. In case it disappoints you just let me know and I will list you some alternatives.

Adblock Plus is good too.
Now available for IE as well as the other popular browsers..
