split mp3 without cue file

February 8th, 2020

Hello,
I have a mp3 file of about 100MB’s from; Htel Costes – Volume 5. I would like to split this in seperate songs. I don’t have the cue file or time stamps. Is there a way I can create this on my own. Where can I find the time stamps/ track lists? Or maybe a place where I can download the cue file seperatly. Or maybe there is an app somewhere. I know for exampel mp3tag can download this information from music databases, maybe there is a way I can create a CUE file with this?

Here’s the cue for it:

Found it on a torrent. You’ll have to edit it a bit however and set the file name accordingly, I mean this part:
FILE "by Stephane Pompougnac (www.pschent.com) - Hotel Costes 5.flac" WAVE
Also, I’ve noticed that the titles contain both the artist & title, So you might wanna fix that as well.

You could try mp3splt:
http://mp3splt.sourceforge.net/mp3splt_page/home.php
If you have silence between songs – it can split on it, there is a tick for that.

thanks , the cue file you provided works!
@ azrael, good to know. But there are no silences in this mp3, its a house mix.
