Speed

Hey guys. My ISP package is 15mbps download. When using internet download manager, I get 1.98mb/Sec for the transfer rate. When downloading 1 file only. Guess that is the max speed. I’m I getting my 15mbps from my ISP provider or close to it?

Your ISP measures in bits per second.
IDM measures in bytes per second.
So sounds about right.
In any case, your download speed from ISP isn’t guaranteed to always max out.

15 Megabits/sec = 1.875 Megabytes /sec
