Sound not playing on computer after formatting

ok so like my dad formatted the comp yesterday and i asked him if he got all d drivers baked up… and he said yes… he got the network drivers backed up… soo we formatted… after the format… so freakin sound woud play… my driver is missing … dad forgot to back it up … sow anyone know where i can get a sound driver up for download???
and move it to helpdesk if u haf ta !!!

i think it was teh inbuilt one… cause the only card i added to the come was a graphics card… i never ever did anything bout sound card… or even cared bout it

Then the driver disk that came with your motherboard should work fine. If you don’t have that, it will be available on the manufacturers website.

see for your motherboard type.and look for the sound card one..specify the name then download the driver..its easy mate

Soundmax is teh manufacturer if i can remember clearly

All computer manufacturers should have drivers that you can download on their website if you ever experience a driver problem. For the basics of the computer anyways.

Chris2u gave you the link, choose the model and then it says in the menu: Download Drivers Software. And you’re done.

Just get driver genius and it’ll see what you need exactly and might dl for you.
