Sound card help…

OK. I have the Sound blaster Audigy 7.1 soundcard..
I try to install the drivers for it and it says that its not pluged in, which it is because windows can find it.
Windows auto driver thing dosn’t want to find the drivers for it eather…
Can anyone help me please?

I know this sounds weird, but you got the right drivers? My Creative soundcard came with a CD with the wrong drivers and had to download them manually It said it couldnt find any compatible device on my system

Im confused now, i thought i did download the wrong drivers now i have downloaded the right ones and still nothing -.- im gunna hve to take it out and get the name arnt i?

err =p i dont have it installed here. But browse under the System/computer tab and it should find it. Kinda hard remembering from memory :S

see where it says Audio Adapter? it should give you a clickable name there, or under the “Multimedia” or “Devices”

The only thing close to a sound card that i have is my USB headset…
EDIT: Could it be because i dont have mobo drivers installed or somthing?

This is where i found my audio card:
Try googling for the exact name everest returns, or click on it and it should redirect you yo where u can download the drivers Image

on the 1st image the audio adapter is the 2nd on that list. Those are the only places where i could find it.

Its the sound card on my mobo, i have downloaded the drivers for it and still nothing… all the other ?’s are fixed tho on device manager…

then tbh i really dont know another way to help you Everest is the only tool i know to identify unknown hardware and download the correct drivers for it :/ Maybe someone else will be able to help you better than me

Ermmm the website is messed up for me, it keep saying the file has been moved to the same page that i was just on…
Oh and as for drivers everything that looks like my sound card
EDIT IT WORKS…. but fraps still dosnt record with sound -.-
