this link gives all my topics forum wide – 211
I was looking for the search of just my game forum topics to add in my WWW sig. Thanks for the replies
Answer #4
Actually it gives you 192 (at least on my search, with the majority of the difference being the ancient posts). I guess old posts you made are still coded in forum 5 and were never updated when the phpbb / db was updated. The two “should” give the same result. Go figure
Answer #5
No problem at all Tooth, FYI I used Lilium for that.
Answer #6
How you do that with Lilium, Tex ?

How you do that with Lilium, Tex ?
Interesting question since I’m 100% sure that I’ve learned that trick from you.
Anyway it is really nice, I have few searches bookmarked thanks to Lilium:
Right click somewhere:

Then you get this window.

Now I figured out how to search my own topics, I realize I did make one on it before..

ok, now these links do not give me just my started game topics. What am I missing?
http://www..org/search.php?show_results=topics&search_fields=firstpost&search_forum=5&search_terms=all&search_author=&search_keywords=
but it must be too long as the only content in the line is
http://www..org/search.php?show_results=topics&search_fields=firstpost&search_forum=
What is link for games only that will ift in the line?. Just want games only
Answer #10
I just added the full line to my signature and it shows in full.
There is a 355 character limit but you are no where near that.
Answer #11
I see what you mean, I think…It doesn’t work if you put it in your “www” (website) button in your profile.
Tried it on mine..Must be a short character limit?
Answer #12
, has successfully had the two of us change our signatures or www button to advert his game posts lol
EDIT: you’re still experimenting I see
Here we go: it’s in my www button
http://www..org/search.php?search_forum=5&search_author=
Answer #13
Well that shortened version works but it shows some Game topics by other Authors..
http://www..org/search.php?search_forum=5&search_author=
Answer #14
This is almost the same method but it shows a lot less topics from others and more from Tooth:
http://www..org/search.php?mode=results&search_terms=all&search_fields=firstpost&search_forum=5&search_keywords=
There is also search with user id that gives Tooth’s game topics only.
http://www..org/search.php?search_fields=firstpost&search_forum=5&search_author_id=1011379
But it can’t fit in “www”.
I thought maybe we can safelinking it and put the direct safelinking link, but it doesn’t work, instead of “%” we get “amp;”.
Anyway Tooth.
In your main game topic thread you can leave info with the link how to search for your game topics only, I’m sure other users will bookmark it.
I did.
