[SOLVED]restart after installation?

July 26th, 2016

Does anyone know why a computer needs to restart after an installation? I know it happens and i’ve never questioned it until now when I’m trying to make a silent installation. Is there someway that you can fool the computer into believing that you restarted the computer so you can start the program without actually restarting? I’m wondering because some programs won’t start until after a reboot after an installation. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks.

Restarting is quite important, to apply some settings.
If you have Spybot S&D its often, that when you install something, you get a change in the startup folder. So this only activates when you restart.
It is not always nessecary tho, even tho it says so. But its probably just better to restart

If you try to cut corners on instilations ie.. not rebooting you risk the software or hardware not working properly, its not worth the hassle for the sake of a reboot.
