[solved]All My Web Browsers Keep Crashing…[/solved]

August 6th, 2016

Hi everybody,
I’m having a problem in which all my browsers keep crashing, sometimes on certain web pages and sometimes just randomly. With certain web pages, even if I restore the web page it will crash again, sometimes they may work after several restorations or with a new browser instance. There is no general trend in what web pages work and don’t work, at first I thought this to be a flash problem although I think this is unlikely now as it also seems to be happening to Bitcomet.
In search of a solution, I have reinstalled XP several times, trying two different discs to be sure of missing dll files or something, the discs seem to work well on other PC’s. I have even swapped to using my slave hard drive as the primary hard drive and the primary as the slave to be sure of no hardware problems, obviously reinstalling XP as well, but the problem persists. Perhaps there is a problem with other hardware?
I am currently using Google Chrome due to it’s abilities in dealing with crashes but it is still a massive nuisance as this happens very often.
Thanks in advance,
It was a RAM problem, those mofos at Dell digitally stamp RAM so u cant use other RAM which I was doing.

Answer #1
What antivirus do you use cause some time ago my browser was crashing by BitDefender antiphishing add-on
Answer #2
I would get hijackthis and post its report here http://www.hijackthis.de/
to be analysed it will probably tell you the problem

I’ve been using Avast, this only started happening when I had to downgrade my motherboard due to the other one being fried.

I’ve done one, since I am unsure of how exactly to analyse this, I’ll past it here:

I’ve done that twice, once on a different hard disk, the drivers have always worked fine.
I have also found out that my power is cutting out and the computer is rebooting, a problem which I previously thought I had solved by changing the Local Disk C, with that piece of evidence, a friend told me that this may be a processor problem,? Any more ideas?
