[Solved] Resizing a bunch of pictures at once?

July 21st, 2021

I have about 60 to 70 pics that I would like to resize to the same height width, I would like to do them all at once rather than one by one.
Problem is… Snagit will only allow me to resize 1 picture at a time which would take to long for 70 pictures.
I thought snagit would be able to resize pics in bunches but I guess not, or maybe I am overlooking something?
Anyone know of a program that will allow me to resize a bunch of phtos at once?

You can do batch resize in ACDSee Photo Manager, but you can try here, i did a quick google search:

Please remember to double check that all your links have been coded. #3.10 links must be coded - including, but not limited to, e-mail addresses, passwords and internal links.

Use Irfanview or Faststone Image Viewer.

Yes, Irfanview.
Batch mode – set the overwrite to yes, tell it what size you want, either or both sides, etc (a good choice of options there).
Then run batch… and wait a while.

Photoshop is useless at things like batch resizing. That’s not what it’s designed for. A dedicated photo manager is what you need. As mentioned above ACDSee is excellent. I’ve been using it for years.
I had a look at http://bulkresizephotos.com/Nice concept, but it crashed when I tried to resize 80 test photos.

After using ACDSee I decided that it was a bit bulky of a program for my tastes being I just needed 1 piece of software to accomplish this single task.
I decided to run with Light Image Resizer
https://www..org/viewtopic.php?p=89535053#89535053

for resizing batch image files it’s light ez to use and serves it’s purpose
And the portable version works just fine.
I think I will now mark this topic as solved
Thanx all for your suggestions.
