[solved] Recovering a rs collectors account?

when i try to login it says The Account has been found, password incorrect!
but my links are still up…
so someone stole my account (no f.. idea how..)
i was just about to reach the 10k points
i had 9850 points!!
i worked so hard for it and now it’s gone…
can someone plzzzz help me!!!

contact rapidshare with your info. Mine got hacked they took 20,000 points and all of my files. I am waiting for a reply. The last time this happened it took about 3 days to get it back.

You might consider how you lost it in the first place and take measures to ensure you don’t loose it again.
how did this happen when you have a security lock on?
security lock was not on…
But i don’t know how they got my password…
email them, and ask them to revert it back to the OLD ORIGINAL email on which you made it.
they always store the ORIGINAL EMAIL address on which it was signed up for
then go to forgot password and get it back…

I think this option is only in the premium account, his account is a free collectors account
yes if u have acc on collector zone and when u click forget password u wont rec any email with password, just remember ur username, email and password last time u used send them to rapidshare u will get ur account backn within a day

Did you run a self extracting video file exe? Or maybe you installed some infected software. If so then change all your passwords.
Using Keepass to store your passwords is advisable, rather than your browser. Delete ALL browser stored passwords.
Make sure all your RS points are still there, they might of hoped to make a Premium from the 9K you had.Also make sure that all your files are still there as they sometimes transfer files out of the account.
Put the lock on and leave it on as there is very little need to take it off. Do not store unlock codes in your email, make a note of it in Keepass and then delete it, because if they get your email address they can turn the lock off.
If you use Keepass, make sure you use the backup plugin to keep backups of your password database.
I now turned on the security lock.
They didn’t transered all my files to another account but put about 1000 files in my account…
All polish crap… took me a day to delete al those files…
Somebody’s going hard on the internet lately. If you use Greasemonkey be very careful about what scripts you add.
I was reading the forums and people are phishing rs accounts with some of them.
