[Solved] Iphone 3G stuck in recovery mode

January 24th, 2020

I attempted downgrading my iPhone 3G from 3.0 to 2.2.1 and now it is stuck in recovery mode. I restored the iPhone with 2.2.1 and the iPhone displayed the “Connect to iTunes” image, I then attempted to jailbreak it using quickpwn, but quickpwn will not recognize the iPhone. I tested quickpwn with my old phone to make sure it wasn’t a problem with the software and it detected the older iPhone just fine. As of now, my iPhone simply displays the “Connect to iTunes image” no matter what I do . I am using Mac OS X 10.5.7 with iTunes 8.1.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
