I have a laptop with built-in camera and i want to record myself.

Not sure what’s your intended purpose is, But just for the record, If you plan on starting a youtube vlog, Using an HD video camera would be a much better idea (Quality wise)

I said i want to use my laptop camera to make videos of myself .. what software do i need ? camtasia is quite difficult and too advanced. i just want sth user-friendly

There was no software provided with your Laptop? Normally at least Cyberlink Youcam is part of any software bundle for Laptops.
Its quite easy to use and provides a lot of effects.
