So guys, whats the Best Video Editing Software?
September 19th, 2013
Whats the best video editing software, that i can find here on warez, thats not trial.
Sony Vegas Pro is what most people use I believe.
I’ve found Video Vegas to be very comfortable and yet flexible to work with.
exSiler replied: Sony Vegas or After Effects.
Ah yes, that one for effects of course.
Sony Vegas or After Effects.
As far as actual editing I would say vegas pro > after effects
Freemake video convertor

Another vote for Sony vegas.
Because you asked for “Best Video Editing Software”, I’d say Adobe After Effects.
But what you need are
VirtualDubMod (If the file(s) is contained in an AVI)
mkvtoolnix (If the file is contained in MKV)
They save the hassle of re-encoding.
Sony Vegas.
Sony Vegas is Better
Sony Vegas
avidemux – free, simple, easy to use and quick. ive found this the best.
Camtasia, Vegas Pro, After Effects..
Another vote for Sony Vegas
Sony Vegas or Cyberlink PowerDirector.
USe Sony Vegas
Thanks alot everyone! Gona try a few of those
Sony Vegas.
It depends. If you plan to produce just cutting by scenes, making a drama/comedy/action movie. Sony Vegas will do the work.
But if you want SPECIAL EFFECTS, go for AE
Sony Vegas if your experienced, If your beginning its probably best to use windows movie maker until you get the hang of it.
I love working with video. From my experience over the years:
Rhozet Carbon Coder 3.02.16 Retail along with the 3.16.00.24320 update (and add on the new H.264 Preset).
Pros: It edits and cuts and joins almost any video format on the exact frame. Encodes to almost any kind of video format Contains good effects and filters to clean up video artifacts and noise, cropping, resizing, add fades and other effects, etc.
Cons: Not compatible with MKVs. Won’t edit a video lossless, it re-encodes. Won’t take DTS audio.
TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5 (successor to TMPGEnc Xpress 4.0)
Pros: Edits and cuts and joins almost any video format including MKVs on the exact frame. Encodes to almost any kind of video format. Contains good effects and filters to clean up video artifacts and noise, cropping, resizing, add fades and other effects, etc.
Cons: Won’t edit a video lossless and won’t pass through the audio, it re-encodes. If you working with a MKV with DTS audio, it converts DTS to Dolby AC3.
Avidemux 2.5.4
Pros: Simple interface and easy to use. Edits and cuts almost any kind of video format including MKVs losslessly and passes through the audio without re-encoding. Encodes to almost any kind of video format.
Cons: Limited effects and filters. Won’t cut some videos (especially AVI and MKV) on the exact frame, it will cut to the nearest keyframe, so when you play it back, the video produced won’t be perfect on the cuts and look amateurish.
Top Shelf Video Editing Apps:
Sony Vegas Pro 10.0d
Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 with Adobe After Effects (and if your’re shooting your own videos, Adobe OnLocation).
Pros: You can do any kind of video editing and special effects known to mankind and produce perfect quality videos with special effects that look ilike they’re fom Hollywood.
Cons: Difficult to learn and master, takes a lot of practice. Complicated interface.
Vegas not compatible with MKV’s nor DTS at all. Premiere needs the Moyea Importer plugin to import MKV’s to Premiere. Need seperate Surcode or DTS-HD software to work with DTS audio.
You can get them all here at W-BB (Avidemx is freeware). Try them all out and see which one you prefer.
cyberlink powerdirector
For a simple edit as the OP suggests, then Avidemux may be all that is required..
Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects should do the trick for you. Both are very advanced and they work awesomely when combined.
sony vegas pro or cyberlink power director
