The Best Video Editing Software

I currently made a video that needs to be edited cause I am not going through it again to make a show of myself. Main issue with the video is its a bit dark on the laptop whereas on the camera its coming up fine. Any software that is gonna head is appreciated?

If you just want to playback it once, just get DaumPotplayer or some other customizable media player and play with the settings.
