plz help me how to set compression ratio in WinRar
i want to compress 100MB file into 10 MB file i want a good tutorial on how to make this

Answer #1
its not possible to compress that much with winrar. It will only cut it down a few MB’s thats it. Nothing can compress that much without corrupting it in the process. (unless it was that one thing, cant remember)

Use KGB Archiver for that sort of compression, WinRAR isn’t suitable

but KGB archiver has a high chance of corruption, it even says so on their site. So either compress as much as you can from ‘s pic or leave it at how much it can go
Answer #5
For a 100mb file the compression isn’t so severe that corruption is an issue, when they start compressing 800mb game rips then you might get corruption.
Answer #6
It can only be done if it’s something simple like a text document. Not on complex data like video / sound / game

i can explain that,its simple
you can compress significantly only data that is non-compressed,that video
was most likely non-compressed AVI
and thats the only reason that it got compressed
really well,if it was an xvid for example it wouldnt
get compressed well at all becuz it was already compressed
bottom line is , you cant re-compress already compressed data
well you can BUT it will barely make it smaller thats what i mean

mate try this make a text document full of 0s that is 100mb and then get a 100mb video and compress them in the same type of rar and see the file difference… it depends entirely on the file type
