SATA/RAID problem on Aspire 5630

I have aspire 5630, and have problems with intallig OS on it. I tried with XP, XP sp2, win 7, and win 7 enterprise.
With xp cds i can make partitions and i can see them during the installation, but when comp copy all files and after restart it says that it is not able to boot hdd.
With win 7 cds i can not copy files…. its just some shity error msgs.
I have to ideas on my mind, think it’s hdd demaged, or i miss those SATA/RAID drivers. And now, i need you to help me pleaaasee! What to do in both cases.

if those drivers were missing you would not see them at all
to check for a bad hard drive
get Hiren’s BootCD, burn as an image and boot from it and check the drive
