Samsung Wave GT-S8500

January 24th, 2020

My brother has a Samsung Wave GT-S8500 and I’m trying to figure out how to connect it to the internet on the move.
Can you only connect it through Wi-Fi in like my home? So he can only browse the internet in the house near the hub?
I’m useless with smart phones, PC’s my thing -_-
K thanks in advance Smile

Answer #2
Yep it should connect to your WIFI.
I don’t know the phone. But I’d imagine it would be under settings > wireless and network
Answer #3
once it’s connected it remembers connection but you can switch it on or off in your top taskbar. Also you have more options in the connectivity settings. And in any situation, if your app needs connection, it will prompt you to choose a wi-fi connection among a list of found ones.

I think he means, how he can get connected without wi-fi. Just go to your provider website, or the shop and ask them to provide you with the internet (edge & 3G) settings, then input them in your settings – applications – internet – internetprofiles. And set up a new one for your current provider.
