Saints Row Third Third Transfer Skidrow save files

Is there a way to transfer skidrow save files of SR3 to the retail version of steam? When I try to manually transfer the saves to the steam installation I get a message that the save files are corrupted.

I should probably explain myself some more.
I played the skidrow version for a couple hours, decided it was a fun game and supported the company by buying it on steam.
Now I want to transfer the save file from the skidrow version to the steam folder, but when I do that I get a message saying the save file is corrupted.

Copy your savefiles from: %appdata%\..\local\SKIDROW\55230\Storage\ —> C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\XXX\ then explore all folders all find the folder that contains files that have SR3 in the name name, then copy your saves over.
You should be able to work it out.

Sorry, I didn’t read to the end, run Steam as admin, run the game as admin. Fixed it for me when using Tunngle for MP.
