Rename files

Ok id like to rename all my tv show episodes to have there episode name but i dont wanna do it 1by1, so i was wondering if there is a way to say auto rename my files to say “Alphas S01E01 Pilot” “Alphas S01E02 Cause And Effect” it would really help me as i have like 70 tv shows that i wanna rename all episodes to.

I use TotalCommander for this job.
It gives you quite a fine grained control over the renaming – and yes, there is an “Undo” button!
Select the files you want to rename (Right-mouse-button and drag (or space to toggle individual files (or “+” (on the num block and enter a pattern such as *.avi)))
Then hit: Ctrl-M to fire up the renaming tool.
You can also post some current episode names you have here (along with what you would like them to look like afterwards) and I can give you a working rename pattern that you can use with TotalCommander.

Do you remember when Ghisler was asked by MS to rename his software because it conflicted with what he called it back in the day? “Windows Commander” lol. How times have changed.

I read that on the homepage once, but I haven’t been a customer of my fellow countryman for so long
What I do think is more disturbing, however, is “our” law prohibiting him from exporting the cryptography stuff, it’s such a stupid law
