Regardless Internet connection, maximum speed 100 kbps

Why is it that my computer’s download speed is always 100 kbps regardles of the connection i am using?

go to speedtest and check your speed lol… What do you mean “connection” your using?

its just your isp probably mate…and 100kbs ouch..that really stinks..i get at min 200kbs and 5mbs max lol
id try and get a different isp or a better internet package or something

I’m wireless, but when i do speed test i get 500 kbs to 800 kbs

dude you are gettin confused,in broadband your line speed
is NOT your actual speed,it divides in 8 , 800 / 8 = 100
it really depends on your connection package,live with it
or pay extra for higher speed

but it might go up or above 100kbs right, haha.
If it PEAKS at 100 and jsut doesnt budge any higher, you could have been capped by your ISP for d/ling stuff too much.
