redsnow error while jailbreaking “exploit failed”
i dont know why this is happening i have changed d usb ports,n tried out in other pc also but seems d same problem coming “exploit failed” for ios5
i m using the latest redsn0w_win_0.9.9b7
my OS : win xp sp3 for both pc .,

Are you selecting the .ipsw (Extras > Select IPSW) before you run the tool?

yes , i m selecting the 5.0 FW for prefered device . ,after tat i go back n press jailbreak n follow the instuctions but later on it stop n shows “exploit failed”

Had the same problems myself when doing my daughters ipod.
Only way I could get passed it was to put the idevice into DFU mode manually and NOT doing it as redsn0w tells you to, if you can understand what I mean, once you have successfully entered DFU mode redsn0w goes ahead with the exploit anyways without going through these steps.
