any help would be appreciated
well to records such streams you first need to be rooted. Are you
well my intention is first to record a TV stream at home and then watch it later on my work during break time !
if you want to watch and simultaneously record it on the device, you’ll need to root it first.
what you mean by rooting could you explain that ,cause i can’t follow
think of if as the as the administrator account of windows. By default (just like windows, unless your the only account) you’re just a normal “user” on android, by rooting you gain access to secure areas of android and priviledges you otherwise don’t have. By rooting you’re no longer a normal “user” but an “administrator” like u have with windows. A lot of aps that do screengrabbing like video need root to work as it requires certain functionality not available to a standard “user”. Rooting also has alot of other benefits. Being able to backup your user (and system aps), internet firewall, and alot more

No rooting basically leaves you with only 1 option. Play the video on TV and record it with the device camera
