Rar files

Why is it that sometimes I unrar a downloaded file ( the last one was 3 gigs) all I get is a whole bunch more rar files. Instructions are unrar and install??? but there is no install file.
What am I doing wrong?

uploaders often compress first into lots of small files and then combine the small ones again in a few less but bigger rar files again thinking it compresses even more. It doesn’t, but try telling them that. just unrar the small ones too and you should get the final output

Thank you for the input ch3vron….but I don’t think that’s it. I would have to unrar another 20 rar files and I still don’t get no install file.?????
Edited……sorry ch3vron You are right. when I clicked on the first unrared file it also urared all of them in the folder. so now I have an install file.

Well, usually when you have a bunch of rar files their extension is something like .r00, r01, r02….
Butt there is one rar file which extension Should be .rar.
So, you should have e.g.
game.r00, game.r01……game.rar
Then right click on that file that ends on rar and extract it……
