have you tried IDM or the other one something, I’ve read they are better.

Apparently it’s a technical issue so, it will be resolved sooner or later. If not, just find another download manager. (IDM/jDownloader)
i think they have a new cookie and code which has stopped it for me as well
try using JDownloader

Mine stopped as well, IDM works ok & there are probably a number of other solutions… Here is another easy alternative to IDM & Rapget that works flawlessly for me… (Rapidshare Premium account holders only)
If your not using firefox then download it from here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
Once firefox is installed then go to this firefox add on page
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6307
then install the Rapidfire addon
Next, visit the Rapidshare homepage & log into your Premium account & save your username & password when prompted by Firefox (click the remember tab at the top right of your browser)
Thats it…
All you need to do now when downloading multiple RS links is highlight them, right mouse click and select rapidfire from the drop down list….. you can Que up a huge list of links & pause/ resume etc as you wish….. One thing i like about this is it displays a small line of download info in the bottom of your browser window showing how many downloads you have active & a “total time remaining” handy if you are for e.g only downloading 1 movie & want to know how long until you can watch it
Something else i have noticed using this rapidfire add on is, it totally max’s out my internet connection “Constantly” where as downloading with rapget my connection never maxed out & fluctuated between 40% – 90% of available bandwidth…… tested downloading 4 files simultaneously on both rapidfire & rapget & rapidfire thrashed it!… I have no idea how or why… maybe somebody else may have some input about this :

Yeah I know what you mean, I’m not really a hardcore downloader and i only use rapidshare, so rapget was clean and easy to use without a million options to worry about. Gutted its stopped working.

I just downloaded Tucan a very nice replacement for rapget you can add multiple URLs at once. IDM need to much tweaking I find it trys to download random things off websites like mp3s.

Tucan works for me either. And its really easy to use. But I loved older jdownloader, only ctrl+c and it automatically prepared those links and you just pushed OK and it started downloading. What the hell is worng with that jdownloader
