Quicktime player on webpages

Ok, so i want to post a video on one of my webpages, but don’t want it to be flash or anything because obviously that makes the quality really crappy. I’ve seen on other sites have some quicktime player stuff like on the top it will say if you dont have most updated version it will have you download to properly view. But anyways is there way i can use quicktime player to embed one of my videos with? Please help! And yes i’ve searched google and I can’t find nothing.
