Question regarding Dead Island

I have been playing Dead Island for a while but I noticed that the gameplay isn’t very smooth and it stutters a bit. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the game and if so what’s the solution?

That tends to happen with older builds.
I’ve been playing my bought copy and its pretty much all solved.

Yes by a slight bit, Dead Island is constantly being updated officially and the pirate scene never updates to keep up with it.
