Why did EA stop it ? i heard they shut down the server @ 2008.
i’m pissed cause now that i got my own Credit Card (Visa) and i can pay via paypal and keep playing it, will it get open again ?

They shut down the servers because nobody was playing it. It was quite a terrible game.

I think if they’d open it, or make it better graphics like in Sims 3, it’ll be a hit again.

When you explicitly state that you may end the service anytime you want or any action that will result in that, you are not scamming. Get your facts straight.
The company may have a paragraph in their tos that they may end the subscription whenever they want. And if they do, how is this scamming. Megaupload may end my subscription too when they notice I am uploading illegal content. This is not scamming, they explicitly said so.

an emulator is being built to bring back the game! i was one of the people who were addicted to it, and so im happy!
