My headphone jack is broken on my Ipod Touch 3rd Gen. Is there a headphone adapter I can purchase which will plug into the charger slot so I can listen to music through the Charger slot. Bearing in mind that it has to be compatible with the Ipod Touch 3rd Gen. Would appreciate any knowledge on this Thankyou

I believe they also sell what you are looking for at apple stores, you can probably find it on their store online.
But the ones I saw were really weird and seem annoying.
Cheers for the info mate! I wasn’t looking for headphones just an adapter. I have looked on the apple store but cannot seem to find them. Thanks anyway!

Ahhh sorry I thought you were looking for headphones that plugged into that.
get a bluetooth adapter & listen to it with new wireless headset (buy both at the same time, or buy another ipod.)
Moved from Off-Topic to Helpdesk.
if you don’t mind opening up the ipod you could just replace the headphone jack, you will need to buy the plastic tools to make it easy and safer for your ipod. there are plenty of sites that sell parts and the tools just google them if you think you can do it. its really not as hard as it seems but i have had a few years of practice on older ipods.
also there are bluetooth adapters that take headphones i think. where you pair the ipod to the adapter then plug the headphones into the adapter. this might be a reasonable solution.
