PSP firmware

I have a quick question about the psp firmware, i have 3.71 M33 right now, is it worth upgrading to the new 5.00 M33? if it is i will
P.S i have a pandoras battery so if i do screw it up i can fix it

Most of the updates are just bug fixes, but still, you might aswell update it. It�s like updating your pc which you should do often.

well there are games out there that need newer firmware. and the newest versions have additional features not included in the old ones. no reason not to upgrade.

So it won’t remove the rights for me to play ISOs, and whatnot?

definitely not! you can still play ISOs and homebrew and everything else. if you have an old (phat) psp you’ll also have to grab the 1.50 kernel add-on, and all will be well.

I all ready have the 5.00 M33-3 Custom Firmware, there not a lot of changes but i recomend to upgrade for future game and other homebrew. You can do the same with 3.71 M33 and with 5.00 M33.

I upgraded and strangely enough my N+ savegame “became” corrupt why?
