Program to undelete internet histories?

August 5th, 2016

I was doing some heavy research on a project yesterday using Opera, and was running a bunch of antivirus programs in the background to do deep scans since my PC was hacked around 3 days ago, and my PC suddenly hanged in the middle of it, so i had to restart. After i restarted, i launched Opera and all the histories and tabs and sessions i had were gone, all the settings are reverted back to default as well.
So i was wondering if there’s a way to recovery the deleted histories or sessions? I know where the default folder location for where the sessions are saved at, i checked there but it’s empty. There isn’t a folder for histories so i don’t know where to look for them. I did some Google searches and it seems that histories are saved in a file called index.dat, and that to read that file you have to use Super Winspy, which is a freeware btw.
I also read this site that tells you the possible locations where Opera stores the index.dat file, i checked all of them and can’t find any, so i assume they must be deleted somehow due to the crash.
So my question is, can someone recommend any good program that can undelete files, and more specifically, .dat files?? I’ve already tried a few such as R-studio, Easeus Data Recovery, Recuva, Restoration etc and i got most of them as full professional versions from , and they don’t include options to search for files like .dat, either that or they can’t find it, or they did find it but it’s not the one for Opera, mostly it’s for Internet Explorer which i don’t even use.
I really need help with this as the project i’m working on is really important to me and i had about 40 tabs opened and most of them are for research and had very important information, they were very hard to find too, took me ages to find those sites and i can’t remember exactly what i searched for either, not all of it at least.
And please don’t tell me to use Firefox, i already am. I use addons like session manager etc, but i happened to be using Opera during the time so ya, it was unfortunate. I didn’t want to use Firefox coz it uses more CPU usage anyway and makes it slower while i had antiviruses scanning in the background…

I don’t know if you can do that myself. I’d suggest going over to the Opera forums and asking there, sure someone might have an answer there ;] http://my.opera.com/community/forums/

i already posted my question at the Opera forums since last week and bumped my topic there a few times but the support there is crap, it’s almost a dead forum there, not even one reply.
And @ , please learn to read. I don’t want to DELETE history, i want to UNDELETE.

already read that, already tried system restore and what i asked was for a program to recover or undelete the index.dat file, otherwise i can’t use Super Winspy to read it if i don’t have that file.
