Program to create HDD image but exclude some folders?

I’d like to make a total backup of my computer, except not so total. I want to exclude all my folders with things such as music, pictures, downloads etc. What can I do that will let me do that?

Make a partition, save the files there then format.

so you want to copy your pc, without saving music and such?

I want to create an image of my harddrive (so say I installed a new harddrive, I could just copy the image over and make it so my HDD was the same) minus all the files I choose such as pictures, music, videos etc

use acronis image…. it would let you exclude files/folders from the backup
