Program disabled from startup keeps coming back..

Hi,
It’s weird but a program(NOKIA PC SUITE) that i disabled from that it must startup with the the pc keeps coming back and starts up with the pc?????
How is this possible?

i am no familiar with the program suite, however it may run another program or a windows service that sets it to start with windows again. check for services. Also, it could be that the program, once run, has an option to start with windows that you can just disable in the program settings…

You didn’t do it properly,Yes you disabled it’s startup,But you surely didn’t prevent it from coming back and
here’s why: The program is set to start on startup,Hence it’ll re-add the registry entry every time you run it,Conclusion: Always
disable startup from the program’s options whenever possible and not from msconfig/regedit.

dude i had the same problem with “nokia pc suite” and have tried EVERYTHING but with no success
now i don’t have that problem with “nokia suite” (formerly “nokia ovi suite”) installed on my pc

tools -> options -> general -> start-up -> uncheck start nokia sute automatically whenever you turn on your computer
