Problem with a .mp3 file

Hello,
i have this problem with an audio file, if i play it on my cell or in windows media and i foward the audio gets mess up. It says its in the 8 minute but it isnt but if i try to foward the audio to the 00:02:00 it starts over again but it says that it is in that mark. But it doesnt happen with the VLC player

I believe your mp3 file is VBR. Try converting it to CBR and try again.

Foward the audio to where? I don’t understand. I got a lot of tunes I play on my cheap LG Smartphone and they play good but then again, I bought a PNY 16GB microSDHC memory card to store the tunes on my cell phone. Maybe you need the same, more space. To transfer tunes I use blue tooth.

sorry i dont know the english term exactly i meant foward the audio from lets say 00:00:00 to 00:02:00

I understand what you mean…..
This is file problem, it works in VLC because VLC repair index data……
Download again from somewhere else that file and try again…..

It probably is a VBR mp3, download from somewhere else. It should work

thanks for your help, i convert the audio to MP3 again and it seems solve
