promising one but wots de price…..
alienware 15x or if thats too much the m13x
Looks like one for 700 to 900 dollars.
For that money you get a decent one. Make sure you have card equal to Radeon HD 5650 or better, then you have a great one. Nvidia card would be best.
What kind of dollars are you referring to exactly? American/Canadian/Australian/New Zealand? Is it even your native currency? (Important: Prices vary greatly from country to country!)
I guess it does not matter much. Since prices drop after christmas, you get a really good one for far below 1000, means in worst case you pay 900 even in most expensive country.
I have Sony Vaio VPC EC3M1E/BJ, bought for 700 euro. Just get the cheapest one which is as good. For 900 euro you would get one far better, probably better ram and video card.
As i said, for laptops Radeon HD 5650 which i have is almost perfect, you can play 1600×900 resolution with very high settings, even MW 3, Rage and Skyrim.

The m15x is discontinued and the m13x doesn’t exist. I’m running a m14x but there are plenty of other better and cheaper gaming laptops. The lights were basically the reason I bought this laptop over the other candidates.
Dell xps. It’s one of the best laptops out there. You will get a very good one for 1000 dollars in Dell outlet.
i won’t recommend Dell xps for you. Because IMO, its expensive and the specs are not that good for the price. Right now, im using MSI GE620DX. Best bang for the buck. I bought it only for around 1000 USD. It should be cheaper right now.

RAM : DDR3 8GB (2x4GB)
HDD : 750GB
OS : Windows 7 Home Premium

LOL sorry to disappoint you, but with 1000 dollars you can’t expect an over the top gaming laptop on average at best with modern games. But with 1000 dollars you can expect to build a pretty solid PC that will fly through many games.
