Please help with website (FTP)

Hello, unfortunately this is way above my head….. I have created my website using adobe flash, purchased my domain name and bought a web host package. All i need now is the most important part.. to upload my website!!
I’m guessing from what I’ve read I have to do something to do with FTP (file transfer protocol).. how do i go about uploading my site and what type of file does my website have to be saved as?????

Your web site needs to be saved like .html. Use programm called SmartFTP to transfer these files. If you want i can show you how to upload it.

thanks for your help. sorry if i sound stupid, but do i save it as .html when i’m saving it in flash, or do i do that in SmartFTP?

Well basicly if you want your index to be .html just include the flash file you created into new HTML document using Adobe Dreamweaver and upload everything from the root directory of the site to your server and try accessing from the domain then.

dreamweaver doesnt recognise my flash file and wont let me open it?! :s
