Please help on my BIOS

I’ve Download and Burn a Bootable installer for windows XP and i’m currently using Windows 7 right now,, But everytime i install windows XP i ended up on the Bluescreen ,, Google says it’s on my BIOS settings need to enable the IDE and SATA?? but it seems i can’t find the options on my BIOS and can’t get it enabled
any tutorials for it? thanks .. hope someone could help me on my problem…

You don’t need to update the bios..You will get the blue screen even if you update..
As you said..You need to change your sata settings in the bios…
What’s your Motherboard Model?

Is it a notebook or desktop? If it’s a notebook what’s the model? If it’s a desktop what’s the motherboard? Bear in mind though that with notebooks even if you manage to install XP via slipstreaming drivers or something you might not find correctly working drivers for all your devices.

and yah.. it’s a notebook.. it’s a Sony Vaio VPCEE32FX

can't i use XP on it? "noidea"Wouldn’t recommend it. I couldn’t find the drivers for some of your components for XP.

how far does the install get ?
it show your drive or can you select where to install ?

where’d you get this from, what post if you got it here
in some cases when installing XP over 7 wiping the current 7 partition/s and starting from scratch can solve some BSoD problems
