Playing Copied DVDS

February 6th, 2020

So i have burnt dvds for years with no problem, but recently a sony dvd player is spitting the discs back out saying the disc is dirty when it’s clearly not. Does anyone else have this problem?
Answer #1
could be the player itself more than likely how old is the player itself cause the older machines would probably have problems with the new kinda formats and stuff out now thats only me own thinking might be wrong on it though
Answer #2
Mate you have to be more specific.
What disks you use?
What model and how old is the DVD player?
What methods did you use to extract the video and burnt to DVD?
Answer #3
Nope..We don’t have this problem…But you do..
If you can’t read a single DVD..Then use a DVD lens cleaner..If that don’t help..I’m afraid you have to replace the DVD Rom Player..

This is your best bet, I normally run the CD/DVD lens cleaner after 25 burns. They are only about £1 to buy.
You could also look to see if there are any firmware updates for the drive you are burning on.
