pc wont load properly

my computer wont load it just continues to say windows xp loading. when i turn it on it says my pc had a little problem and i can go with safe mode or last time the settings worked. i tried every single option but it still don’t load. i don’t know why it started to do this. i think the following night i turned my computer off as i was in a rush i turned it off without doing windows shut down. what can i do to make my computer work as i need my files and i need to burn some cds for tonight. thanks.

Use the XP CD you installed with…Boot with it and do a full repair..Not the console repair…

will i loose any programs or files also what if i cant find the xp disc cus i dont think i can – could i get another original one or download 1?

no, your files with still be in their place. just make sure you do a repair install.
it’s the 2nd choice!

i cant find my xp cd can i borrow my mates or download one but if i download 1 and do the repair will my windows xp still be genuine

If u installed windows xp from a genuine bootable disc and u repair it from a pirated bootable disc there wud be no change in ur windows xp!

First you have to know what edition is your XP if you need to download it..I’m assuming it’ OEM…Yes it will be legit as long as you use the key that’s printed on your PC/Laptop…
