My configuration is next:
1. J&W 790GX Extreme Motherboard
2. AMD 7750+ X2 Black Edition Processor
3. ATI Sapphire HD4870 1GB DDR5
4. 4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 1066MHz
5. WD Caviar 640GB 32MB Cache 7200rpm
6. NZXT Lexa Blueline Case
Get a new PSU
LC is very loud
you sure it’s not the hard drive or CPU fan
the LC get hot ?
if it is the LC fan and the unit is not to hot then you could re-wire the fan to bypass the LC’s speed control
I’ve rewired them to run off of a mobo fan header with either a fan speed control or @ 5volts (bout 60% of full speed) instead of 12volts
but only recommend this if the PC runs on the cool side, as slowing the fan it moves less air there by removing less heat
It’s not the LC fan and the PSU is not hot,the temperature of the cpu and case temperature doesn’t exceed 40 degrees of Celsius. The noise is coming from inside of the psu.The computer is brand new,3 months old.when I’m not doing anything on it,it’s perfectly silent, when loading of the games starts….here comes the noise.
have you checked the GPU fan. i also have a 4870 1GB and at >60% fan speed its insanely loud try downloading Speedfan and GPUZ to check the temps and log the GPU fan speeds.
yes I’ve checked the fan on gpu and other six in case,it’s not them. When I’m playing games the only thing that is loud is psu.Squeaking sound comes from psu,it’s not that loud, but it goes on my nerves. It is easy to replace the psu,but it’s new.I just trying to find some other solution.
there are alot of ferite cored inductors which run at an anoying frequency if converted to sound by resonating probably just one loose no way to tell without running the thing uncovered (can be very dangerous ) and pressing on all components 1 at a time with a PLASTIC rod

Yes you need to get a new PSU or if you’re feeling adventurous you can disassemble the PSU and replace the fan.
Disassemble your PSU are you CRAZY!!!!
A 600w PSU could potentially have up 300w of electricity still stored in itself, You would be better off buying a new one my choice would be either a Tagan or Seasonic.
it’s not the fan in the psu that’s making noise,it’s something else.I will not temper with psu.If this problem continue,I will get new psu.
I was just wondering if someone else had similar problems with theirs psu. Thanks anyway.

If you know what you are doing its fine but as I said can be dangerous those capacitors pack a 400V DC kick along with very high current surge which can be a nasty shock.
