Nokia Symbian Anna OS **HELP**

Hey guys, so recently i have found out there is a new os for Nokia smartphones called symbian anna and would love to have it for my Nokia N8-00 but i cannot find the update. I have tried using device manager update but says no updates available and also looked on the Ovi suite but nothing. I live In Australia is it released here yet?
Any comments is greatly appreciated

friend check this link …. it says that nokia N8 coming soon… means that i guess that it is not available yet for nokia N8 users… but this is a malaysian site so i am not sure…

I own a N8.00 and live in Australia. I am also eager for this OS update. I think Symbian Anna is released Regionally, so I would suggest using the “SW Update” application on your phone. Setting this application to “auto-check for updates” “On” might also be helpful.

yeah im starting to think its released regionally aswell, Malaysia has the update before us im wondering why we are pretty much getting last over most of the country’s. oh well I cant wait for it, it looks so much better to use on this phone and will probaly exceed the iPhone lol

Sheesh! Thank god i switched to Galaxy S II. Android is much much better.
I didn’t want to go off topic BTW, but from my personal experience mate, it will be out, when it will be out. Don’t trust Nokia with their slimy and cracked up “release dates” because they never stick to any real plan. They’ll say that the’re gonna release something new “soon” and BAM! 6 months gone and all they say again is “soon”

yeah i wouldnt mind that phone when Im done with my 2 year plan lol, but this new update should this the phone being 10x better hopefully.
