Nintendo Wii

I have downloaded loads of wii pal games from bb the only trouble is that none of these will work on my modded wii, but the copied games that i had with the wii when i bought it works. Any ideas PLEASE

Well, you have to make sure that you burn the games correctly, and that they are on a DVD -R disk. I haven’t actually done this, but i have searched it on Google. I am not 100% sure on how to do this, but maybe have a look at www.wiibrew.org or www.qj.net for some help

Probably a media type issue..
If your wii is PAL , and you have a modchip which doesn’t require it’s firmware to be updated , like a D2PRO which is what I have installed in my wii , then there shouldn’t be a modchip issue.. The likelyhood is that the DVD’s you use aren’t compatible..
The best DVD type that I’ve found are Maxell dvd+r gold top which I’ve used for over 200 wii games and works flawless.. I’ve also used Verbatim dvd-r for about 150 wii games which were about 90% succesfull…
The unbranded silvertop DVD’s very rarely work with wii’s and other cheap brands like MR DVD will definately not work..
If the modchip you are using is a wiikey then I think you may have to update the firmware on the chip if you haven’t already done so in the past…
