i,m looking for some advice plz….my daughter wants a DSi for xmas and i got told about R4 cards u can buy which enables u to store and play downloaded games onto…do these R4 things work with the new Si and r the downloaded games easy to put onto them…..i dont want to buy 1 if they are complicated to use lol

It’s simple mate..Just copy the Rom to the memory card and run it…

get something like the Acekard 2i, Supercard DSTWO Card, or CycloDS Evolution Card.
go and take a look over at  www.shoptemp.com
but i highly suggest you stay away from the R4… sure it might work… but you are better off getting a higher quality card even if it costs more, it costs less than the price of one new game.

that’s the main problem with the R4 cards, there are a lot of fakes

maybe you should wait for the 3ds to come out just wait a couple of months. buyng a dsi isn’t such a good idea i think.
when you buy a card you should be sure you buy one that works with dsi. i’ve got an R4 and it works good but is right there are a lot of fakes so you should’nt buy an R4

I think the DSTWo is cool since it has a built-in processor for emulating SNES and GBA

awh, yea i forgot about the dstwo having it’s own built in processor lol.
i think that’s going to be the next one i get.
but i probably won’t b e getting one until the 3ds comes out and they port the flash carts for it

ive ordered several r4 cards and have had no problems…never got a fake…just depends on the site…
