Sorry for double post but do you guys think that this video card is compatible with my pc XFX ONE R-Series Radeon HD 5450 ON-XFX1-PLS2 Video Card – 1GB DDR3, PCI-Express (x16), http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7373215&CatId=1558

that’ll work, but I wouldn’t do that with only the standard 250 WATT power supply. a 500 WATT is more suitable.

It’s way too small by todays standards. and it’s low quality to keep costs as low as possible. I can’t think of any reason to keep a 250 watt power supply in a modern desktop computer, not that it needs 500 watts all the time, but under certain conditions it can draw that mostly briefly. a computer will draw only what it needs to operate properly, the larger power supply will prevent unexpected blue screens and lockups due to a small power supply. as far as the card goes, check out the specs on the games you want to run, look for their website. also, after the card is installed in the computer, there is a website which checks it to see if the requirements are met for the desired game to run. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
