** When I turn on the computer to test it. The 3 case fan runs just fine.
The fan on the heatsink runs just fine. The graphic card fan / led runs fine
For some reason, I can’t seem to get the display to work. I have try it with a new dell monitor and my TV. Both using HDMI and VAG cables. ( the graphic card only support hdmi and dvi. my dell monitor doesn’t have hdmi or VAG port only VDI so i use a converter, still no display ). What may cost the problem
– Ram: I’m only using 1 stick of 8gb of ram. – Motherboard: I hear no beep
– the graphic card I’ve been at this for the last 3 hours. any other suggestion?
First off, I’m terribly sorry you bought an AMD =(
Secondly, did you power your GPU? And does it work when plugged into onboard?
Which brings me to the last thing, I didnt even see onboard video out on that motherboard from the spec you linked.
Looking at your last notes, it appears you are not even getting a POST.
Also looking at your motherboard, for that price, it should have an onboard LCD display to tell you what is wrong =(
You need to check the RAM, try another slot, generally you try a different stick, but it does not sound like you have one.
The key componets here are your mobo with a cpu and ram all getting power, if once of these is not working, you will not get past POST.
Your motherboard didnt beep so like Smash said….. It didnt POST
Take everything off and redo it one by one slowly. Ram is what people missed the most. You have to really push it in and lock the latches. Mobo with no onboard video connection is not great also no lcd screen to throw you error codes to look up is a no go also. A debug code really help a lots.
A common mistake new builders do is forget to connect the ATX12V connector (Which powers the CPU)
You have an 8PIN connector next to the CPU socket (Right behind the optical audio out), If you didn’t connect it, Then that’s the problem! Also, Your video card requires additional power, Which is why it has 2 6PIN PCI-E power connectors, Make sure you connect these as well.
If you have just a 4 pin, instead of 8 pin, ATX connector from your PSU, you will find that it will plug into one half of the mobo socket OK.
The mobo manual on the support site was crap, but I found a proper one here in case you weren’t supplied with it..

dude there are like 1000 youtube video’s on how to build your own pc. I did it the first time by watching it and had no problem at all. Have you tried plugging the HDMI cable to the motherboard HDMI port? (if you have one) I had to do the same first and when I installed the drivers, I was able to change HDMI port and use the one from the gpu.
