January 20th, 2020
im writing this on my laptop, but the problem is with my PC or maybe the wireless adapter =/
here is the adapter i have:

thing is, i connect it to my PC via USB and it says adapter not connected! when it is! its been working for 6-8 months; possibly more.
How can i find out if it is just the USB wifi adapter? or is it do with all the USB ports =(
please help me guys!
does it appear in device manager? its quite possible
you need to install its driver again
okay mate, ill try that; be right back
EDIT: mate, im in device manager, but i don’t know what im looking for =/
any part i should look in?
see any devices with a yellow mark? just provide a screenshot, easier
nothing with a yellow mark =/
your wifi usb adapter must be connected before looking
in device manager , maybe i should have been more specific
the adapter is connected into the USB port =|
try a diffrent usb port (a back one)
if that wont do it then reinstall the chipset driver
(obtain from motherboard manufacturer site by
the model)
and if that fails too, then reinstall the wifi adapter driver
try to enable all of those red X adapters
one of em (possibly the 2nd) might be the wifi adapter
nah, none of them worked
maybe it will work,my friend had a problem of the usb port with his wifi modem it was a little bit same and i told him to enable the ports and i worked try it…
try it on your lappy and see if it gets detected. Maybe a faulty one….
i tried it on my lappy too, but it says it has no toher device to scan for a network ><
One of the Ethernet controller is not activated, might be the source of your issue.
However, just reinstall the driver from the official website, it should all be back to normal:
