Need to create a Restore DVD

Hello, I wish to create a DVD that would restore everything the way it was. I don’t want to save any data like docx or rars but just save all the softwares that I have.
Is this possible and if so, how?

Acronis Image – make a restore cd or dvd, and make a backup image (same dvd or new one)
Boot to the dvd and retore from the image = exactly the same as it was before.
So:
install windows
make changes to suit you (settings/theme/etc)
install programs you use regularly inc acronis
configure them to suit you
make acronis boot cd
image drive to image file
burn dvd with image file
all set, a virus can hit, you can format the drive, even install Win7, all you have to do is boot to cd and replace the imaged drive.
